How often when outside do you look up above? The other day while walking outside on a cool bright late autumn day, my attention was drawn upwards by a kaw kaw crowing type of chatter going on above my head. I raised my eyes and noticed the vivid blue sky with the clumps and wisps of white cloud moving along. The bats came flying down and were gone, the murder of crows were going about their business high up. All this in less than a minute. Sky is an English vocabulary word signifying the uncertain distance high above us or the upper regions of the air.
