Urval Type E Electric Therapy set, Violet Ray, from 1930’s

Violetwand machines were popular in the 1920 and 30’s, they were used as a”home” treatment for a wide variety of ailments by using theapplication of ultra violet light.
This machine was my wife’s Grandmother’s, who practised as a Chiroptologist in the 1930’s /40’s.
The power cable has a plug that connects in to a light socket. I have not switched it on as I am not an electrician, it would be advisable to get it checked out by a qualified electrician.
