Ladybird series books, I have recently started collecting old copies of these wonderful little books.The small easily held hardback book, was so designed that the number of pages and size was the most efficient format to produce. This kept the price down for this 56 page colourful book to an affordable two shillings and six pence, that is about 13p, this price was held for about thirty years.
