In the news today Lloyds bank has banned Bitcoin purchases on its credit card. The stated reason is that there has been a big fall in the value of digital currencies and customers may be unable to pay credit card balance. This move is to protect the bank, which we understand. But the bank is still allowing customers to make purchases using their debit cards. Banks do not like digital currencies. We do not understand digital currencies enough to make a definite statement about this situation. Could it be the time to invest in digital currencies and if so which one? We predict that digital currencies are not going away and that Banks and Governments of countries are desperate to find a way to control them.
